Internet Cafe

This internet cafe is located at No- 118 in North Sonaichari. We are quite close to the Shatrughan Para High School, so we see a lot of students coming through our doors. They usually come in to look things up for their homework or to get some papers printed out. The cafe has a row of computers set up on long wooden tables. The chairs are just basic plastic ones that we have had for a few years now. It can get a bit loud when the school lets out and everyone wants to use the internet at the same time. We also help people with their online forms and scanning documents. The fans on the computers hum all day, and it can get quite warm in the small room. North Sonaichari is a quiet place otherwise. Outside the door, you can see people going about their daily business in the village. We have a small inverter for when the electricity cuts out, which happens more often than we would like. It’s a simple setup at No- 118. We don't have high-speed gaming rigs or anything, just basic machines that work for browsing and typing. We keep a stack of paper ready for the printer and try to keep the screens clean. It is a helpful little spot for the local community and the school kids. We are usually here from the morning until late evening when the last student finishes their work and goes home.
