Our office is in Ponda, Goa, specifically in the Municipal Building at Khadpaband. It’s a central spot in Ponda, so there’s always people walking by going to the market or the government offices. Being in the Municipal Building means we are right in the middle of things. We have been here for quite a while. Goa is known for being relaxed, but we stay pretty busy with the work at V.M. Salgaocars Bros& Pvt Ltd. We handle a lot of administrative tasks and business coordination from this office. The room is filled with old files and desks that have seen a lot of use. We don't have any shiny brochures or a sales team. We just talk to the people who come in through the door. Ponda is a bit away from the beaches, so it feels more like a working town than a tourist spot. We like it that way. Most of our staff have been with us for years, and we just get on with the day’s work without making a fuss. We don’t have any grand corporate mission; we just try to keep our affairs in order and stay on top of our responsibilities. It’s a simple office in a public building, and we like the directness of it. Sometimes the monsoon rain is so loud on the roof we can hardly hear the phone, but we keep at it nonetheless.
