Venice Garden Open Restaurant

Our restaurant is right across from the church and Lohia Maidan. It's in the Pelican B building, shop number one. Being in the middle of Margao means there is always something going on. It’s an open-air kind of setup. People like sitting outside when the weather is behaving. We’ve been here for a long time now. It’s not a fancy place. We have basic tables and the fans keep things moving. You can see the people walking by to the maidan or the church. It gets quite lively during festivals. We just serve regular meals. Nothing too experimental. People come for the atmosphere of being outdoors. We have a lot of locals who come in for a quick bite or a long chat. The kitchen is tucked away in the back. It’s a simple operation. We don’t have a website or anything like that. We just open the doors and see who comes in. Sometimes the traffic noise from Margao is a bit loud, but that’s just part of being in the center. We try to keep the garden area looking okay with a few plants. It's a nice spot to watch the world go by. We do our best to make everyone feel okay while they’re here. It’s a lot of sweeping and cleaning to keep the dust away. But we're used to it. Just a local Margao spot where you can relax. No big fuss, just food and fresh air. That's how we like it.
