Our place is on Dhur Baut Road in Maha Laxmi Nagar. A good landmark is the Rajasthani Dhaba nearby, which is where we usually grab a quick meal when things get hectic. Being in the packing and moving business means we’re rarely just sitting in the office. We’re usually out with the trucks, loading boxes or trying to navigate through narrow streets. It’s heavy work, and your hands get pretty rough from all the tape and cardboard. We keep our supplies stored at the warehouse area, and it’s always a bit of a mess with bubble wrap and crates everywhere. The road outside can get quite dusty, especially when the big trucks roll through. We’ve been doing this for a while, and we’ve seen all sorts of houses and apartments. It’s mostly just us and a few regular drivers we trust. We don’t have a big marketing department or anything like that. People usually find us because they saw our truck or someone told them we were okay to work with. Moving is stressful for people, so we try to just get in and do the job without making too much of a fuss. It’s a lot of lifting and sweating, honestly. But it’s how we make a living here in this neighborhood. We always have to check the weather before we start a big loading job, just in case it rains and complicates things for the guys.
