Our spot is in Saligao, right there at Abreovaddo. We share the space with Devine Computers, so if you find them, you’ve found us. Bardez is a nice enough place to work, though it can get pretty quiet in the afternoons when the sun is really beating down. We aren't some huge factory; it’s more of a small setup where we can keep an eye on everything at once. There’s usually some music playing in the background to keep everyone moving. The work involves a lot of handling different fabrics and checking pieces as they come through. It’s a bit messy sometimes with scraps on the floor and patterns pinned up on the walls wherever there’s a bit of room. We don't have a fancy reception area or anything like that. If someone walks in, they usually just talk to whoever is closest to the door. The commute for most of us isn't too bad, just a quick ride through the village lanes. We’ve got a couple of big cutting tables that take up most of the main room, and the sewing machines are lined up along the side. Sometimes we run out of space for all the rolls of cloth, so we have to stack them up in the corner near the computer area. It’s just a normal day-to-day operation where we try to get the orders finished without too much fuss.
