Down in the Verna Industrial Estate, you’ll find us at Netzsch Technologies. It’s a busy part of the region with lots of manufacturing and heavy work going on all day. We have our facility set up here to handle the technical side of things. It’s mostly machinery, metal parts, and tools around our shop. We spend our days looking at technical drawings or working directly with the equipment. It’s not the cleanest work, but we like it that way. Being in Verna means we are surrounded by other people doing similar industrial work, which is helpful. Our team is a mix of people who have been doing this for decades and some newer guys learning the ropes. We don't have a fancy lobby with a receptionist and soft chairs. Usually, if you walk in, you’ll just see someone in overalls or carrying a heavy clipboard. We focus on the engineering problems that come our way. Sometimes a machine breaks down or a part needs fixing, and that’s when we’re at our busiest. It can get pretty loud in the workshop when the fans are running and the metal is being worked on. We don’t really do the whole corporate branding thing. We just have our name on the gate and we get on with the orders we have on the books. It’s a steady pace most weeks. We take our breaks, talk about the local news, and then get back to the equipment. It’s a good way to earn a living.
