Marico Ltd

Our unit is located in Goa, but not the part with the beaches and hotels that most people think of. We are in Tiswadi, specifically at Surchem Bhat in Kumbharjua. It’s a more industrial and rural patch of the state. The address is 403107 if you are looking it up on a map. Marico Ltd has been operating from here for a while, and the atmosphere is very much about the daily grind of production and logistics. There is always a lot of movement around the facility with trucks coming in and out to load up goods. The humidity here in Goa can be quite intense, so the fans in the office are always running at full speed. It is a large site compared to a regular office, with a lot of storage space and specialized areas for the work we do. Most of the people working here are locals from the surrounding villages in Tiswadi. We don't have any shiny corporate lounges; it’s mostly just functional spaces, concrete floors, and a lot of metal shelving. The road leading up to the plant can be a bit bumpy, especially after the heavy rains we get here. Inside, you’ll find people in uniforms going about their tasks and supervisors checking on the machines. It is a busy place where we focus on getting the products ready and out the door on time. It feels very much like a hardworking environment, just people doing their jobs.
