Our setup is over in Cuncolim, specifically at the address of C/O J. J. Fernandes. Goa 403703 is the pin code if you’re looking for it on a map. Karthik Alloys Ltd is the name on the papers, though around here people just know the location. It’s more of an industrial sort of vibe in this part of Cuncolim. We aren't right on the beach or anything like that. It’s mostly about the work we do with metals. The yard can get quite hot in the afternoon sun, but that’s just part of the deal when you’re in this line of business. Things get a bit messy sometimes with all the materials moving around. It’s not a polished showroom. We have trucks coming in and out, and there’s always the sound of something being moved. We’ve been at this spot for a while. J. J. Fernandes’ place is well known enough in the area so we don’t usually have to give long directions. We just focus on the daily tasks. There is no fancy reception area with coffee machines. Just a place to sit and talk shop. It’s a straightforward operation. We deal with the day-to-day stuff as it comes. It’s quiet in the evenings once the machines stop.
