Goa Ayurvedic Hospital

Our place is the Goa Ayurvedic Hospital and you can find us at the Apollo Victor Hospital Annexe on Malbhat Margao. It’s a busy corner of Margao, so there’s always the sound of scooters and cars outside. The hospital isn’t some shiny new office block; it’s more of a practical setup where we do our daily work. We focus on the traditional stuff, so you’ll often smell herbs and oils when you walk through the door. It’s a different kind of smell than what you get in a regular clinic. We have a lot of local people from around Margao coming in because they’ve known about this spot for years. It’s not just for tourists, though we get some of those too. The rooms are simple and we don’t spend money on fancy decorations because that isn’t why people come here. They come because they want the old ways of doing things. We have a few staff members who have been here since the start. We spend our mornings getting things ready for the patients and our afternoons are usually spent in a bit of a rush. Sometimes the waiting area gets a little crowded, especially on Mondays. We just tell people to take a seat and we’ll get to them when it’s their turn. It’s an honest way to spend the day, helping people with their aches and pains using what we know.
