Fernandos Nostalgia Restaurant

You can find us at house number 608 in the Uzro Ward area of Raia. It’s a beautiful part of Salcette, and we’ve been part of this community for a long time. The restaurant isn't like those modern places in the city with glass walls and bright lights. It feels more like an old home because, well, it kind of is. We have plenty of old photos on the walls and furniture that’s seen a lot of years. It’s a place where people come to sit for a while and just eat. We don’t rush anyone out. The kitchen is busy with the usual local dishes. We try to keep things the way they used to be, without making it too complicated. Sometimes the garden gets a bit wild if we don't have time to trim it, but people seem to like the greenery. We have some regular customers who have been coming here since they were kids. It’s nice to see the families grow. We don’t do much advertising. We just open the doors and let the food speak. It’s a lot of work keeping an old place like this running, but we wouldn’t want to be anywhere else. Raia is a peaceful village, and we like the slow pace here. It suits us perfectly. We enjoy watching the seasons change from our porch while we wait for the dinner rush to start. It's just a quiet, steady life in Salcette.
