Elin Electronics Ltd.

Elin Electronics Ltd. is based at Plot 184 in the Verna Industrial Estate. Verna is a big place in Goa and there are lots of companies all around us. It is quite different from the tourist parts of the state. Here, it is all about industry and getting things manufactured. We work on electronics, so the inside of our building is kept a bit cleaner than a heavy machine shop might be. But it still feels like a factory environment. The Goa weather can be very humid, so we try to stay cool while we work on the circuits and components. Being on Plot 184 gives us a good amount of room. There is a lot of coming and going with the shifts changing. You see many people on scooters and buses arriving at the estate every morning. We have been part of this industrial landscape for a while. It’s a busy life, looking at small parts and making sure everything is put together correctly. We don't have a lot of time for standing around. The lunch break is usually when everyone catches up on news. It is a very practical place to be. We just get on with the production and try to keep things moving. The estate is a bit like a small city on its own. We are just one of the many units making things happen there. It is steady work in a nice part of the world.
