Durafab Engineering

Durafab Engineering is at D-28 in the Bicholim Industrial Estate. It’s one of those standard sheds you see in these government estates. We have been here for a good while. The space is mostly filled with welding equipment and heavy benches. It’s a very practical setup. We don't have a fancy lobby or anyone to greet you at the door. You usually just walk in and find one of us working on a frame or some parts. The floor is stained with years of work and the walls could use a fresh coat of paint, but it doesn't bother us. Bicholim is a bit of a drive, but it's a good place for engineering. We get a lot of dust from the nearby units. Our day starts at eight and we usually wrap up by six if there isn't a rush. We don't have a big corporate culture. It’s just a group of guys who know how to handle tools. We talk about the local football scores or the weather while we work. The machinery we use is old but reliable. We don't spend money on advertising. People just know where D-28 is when they need something fabricated. It’s a noisy, dirty, and honest way to make a living. We just try to do the work properly and go home.
