Our spot is in the Ashad Housing Complex over in Margao, specifically house number E-12. It’s a residential neighborhood, so it feels very different from a typical business district. Anil Kumar’s place is where we set things up. In Goa, everything feels a bit more relaxed, even when we are busy. The humidity can be a bit much in the summer, so the AC stays on most of the time. We have a small porch where we occasionally take breaks and watch the neighbors go about their business. It is a bit of a maze to find the right house if you aren't familiar with the Medal area, but once you find it, it’s easy. We don't have a big staff, just enough to manage the local distribution and keep things moving. The desks are pushed against the walls to make more room for the inventory. It’s a functional space above everything else. We don't spend money on leather chairs or glass tables because we don't need them. Sometimes the neighborhood kids play cricket nearby and the ball hits the gate, but it’s all part of being here. We like the local feel of the office. It doesn't feel like work when you’re in a place that feels like a home. We just do our jobs, stay out of the heat, and make sure everything is sorted before the weekend.
