Choranker Clinic

This clinic is located in Shanti Nagar, very close to the Choranker Industry. Most people use the industry as a landmark when they are coming to see us for the first time. It is a simple neighborhood clinic. We handle the usual things like seasonal flu, small injuries, and regular health checkups for the families living around here. The space is not very large, so we have to be organized with how we use the rooms. We have a few wooden benches for people to sit on while they wait their turn. The walls are painted a pale blue that has faded over the years. We have a small medical cabinet where we keep the bandages and basic medicines. Shanti Nagar is a working-class area, so we see people at all hours, especially in the evenings after the factories close. The lighting inside is okay, though one of the tube lights flickers sometimes. We don't spend much on making it look fancy because the focus is just on the patients. It can get a bit dusty because of the industrial area nearby, so we are always wiping down the tables. We have been in this spot for a long time and everyone in the nearby blocks knows us. We just provide basic care for whoever walks in with a problem. It’s a busy life but it feels right to be here in the community.
