Bosio Hospital

Bosio Hospital is located in Pintos vaddo, which is part of the Candolim-Bardez area in Goa. If you know the neighborhood, it is a bit of a mix of tourists and locals. We are tucked back in the vaddo, so it is not as loud as the main beach roads can get. The building has been here for quite some time. It is not one of those massive new medical centers. Instead, it feels more like a part of the local community. We have people coming in for all sorts of reasons. Some are just passing through and got sick, but most are families who have lived in Candolim for generations. The pace here can be strange. Some mornings are completely quiet and we just drink tea and catch up on paperwork. Then, all of a sudden, three or four things happen at once and everyone is running around. That is just how it is with a local hospital. We don't have a big marketing department or anything like that. Our sign out front is simple and most people find us just by asking around or because they have been here before. The rooms are basic but they stay cool enough even when the Goa heat is hitting hard outside. We just keep things going one day at a time, looking after whoever comes through the gates. It is a pretty steady life here in Bardez for all of us on staff.
