Apollo Victor Hospital

This hospital is tucked away on Malbhat Margao. If you know the Malbhat area, you know it can get quite lively. The building has been here for some time and it definitely looks like a place that sees a lot of action. Inside, the hallways are wide enough for the stretchers and there is always that specific hospital smell of cleaning fluid and medicine. We have different floors for different things, but most of the activity happens near the entrance where people are checking in. The staff spends their shifts moving between the rooms and the nursing stations. It is a big operation to keep track of everyone. Outside on the street, the traffic in Margao keeps moving past, and you can hear the horns if the windows are open. We get people coming in from all over the local area, not just the immediate street. The lobby has a lot of seating, but it still feels small when families are waiting around. There is no flashy art on the walls, just the signs telling you where to go. It is a practical building meant for taking care of people who aren't feeling well. We keep the lights on all night and there is always someone at the desk. The work is steady and there is always something needing to be cleaned or fixed up. It's a lot of responsibility but we just take it one day at a time here in the middle of town.
