Anta Jewellers Private Limited

Anta Jewellers is a shop in the New Margao Market. We are at Shop No. 74 on Francisco Loyola Road. If you know South Goa, you know this market is always full of people looking for all sorts of things. Our shop is just one of many in the row, but we’ve been around for a while, so people know our name. The atmosphere is usually quite busy with people moving back and forth all day long. We spend most of our hours behind the counter. The shop isn't particularly big, so we have to keep everything very organized so we can find things. We handle jewelry and try to help out whoever walks in with a question or a request. It can get pretty warm in the market during the afternoon, but we just keep the fans going and get on with the work. The noise from the road is just part of the background for us now. We don't have any big corporate missions or anything like that. We just want to do our work properly and head home in the evening. Most of our customers are locals who are out doing their regular shopping in the market area. We like being part of the market and hearing the local news from the people who stop by. It’s a very grounded way to spend the day. We keep the pieces clean and the accounts in order. It’s just a lot of small, everyday tasks that keep us busy on Francisco Loyola Road throughout the week.
