Aic-Gim Foundation

We are based out of the Goa Institute of Management in Poriem, which is in the Sattari area of North Goa. It’s a nice part of the state, quite a bit quieter than the tourist spots down south. Being at the Aic-Gim Foundation means we spend a lot of time on the campus, but we also try to keep in touch with the local towns nearby. We don't have a big standalone building, we just work out of the space provided here. It’s a practical setup. We spend our time helping people get their own small projects or businesses moving. We aren't consultants with expensive suits. We’re mostly just staff who know a bit about how things work and want to share that. Some days the humidity is pretty thick, and things move a bit slower, but we keep the work going. It’s a lot of meetings and a lot of listening. We don't have a lot of fancy slogans or marketing plans. We just look at what someone is trying to build and see if we have anything that can help them out. It’s straightforward work in a beautiful part of Goa. We like being part of the institute but we also like being part of the local community in Sattari. It’s a good balance for us, and we try to stay humble about what we can actually achieve here each day.
