Anand Bhavan is where we set up Agrawal Renewable Energy Pvt. Ltd. It is on Old Station Road in Margao, which is a place that has a lot of history. You can still see the old style of the buildings around here. Working in renewable energy means we spend a lot of time thinking about the sun and the wind. In a place like Margao, we get plenty of sun, so it makes sense for us to be here. Our office inside Anand Bhavan is fairly modest. We have some files, a few drawings of solar setups, and a coffee machine that works most of the time. The Old Station Road can be a bit noisy with all the motorbikes and people walking to the market, but we like the energy of it. It feels like being in the heart of the town. We aren't a massive company with hundreds of employees. We are just a local group trying to get more people to use cleaner power. We talk to farmers, homeowners, and local shopkeepers about how they can save on their bills. It is practical work. Sometimes the rain in Goa gets so heavy we can barely hear each other talk, but we just keep working through it. We don’t have a big fancy lobby or a receptionist in a suit. You just walk in and talk to whoever is available. It’s a very open way of doing business and it seems to work for us and the local community.
