Pour Femme International Private Limited

Pour Femme International Private Limited is tucked away in the basement at II C-41 in Lajpat Nagar. Being in a basement in Lajpat Nagar means it stays a bit cooler in the summer, which we definitely appreciate. This area is famous for clothes, so we fit right in, even if we are a bit hidden from the main road. Our space is filled with racks of women's clothing. We spend most of our time checking the quality of the fabrics and making sure the sizes are consistent. It’s a lot of repetitive work, but we don't mind it much. The hum of the air conditioner is always going in the background. We have a small desk near the entrance where we keep our logbooks. Everything is written down by hand usually. We get deliveries at odd hours sometimes, so one of us has to be there to open the gate. The basement can get a bit dusty with all the textiles, so we are always cleaning up. We aren't some huge international corporation with thousands of employees; we are just a small team working out of South Delhi. People who know us usually just drop by to see what's new in the racks. We don't do anything too fancy, just honest work making sure the garments are ready for the market. It’s a busy life, but it keeps us on our toes every day. Sometimes we even have lunch together right there between the piles of fabric.
