Street food smells come up to the third floor. We deal with lifestyle stuff, mostly clothing and accessories. We have a small team. The office is basically one big room with desks and some storage. We aren't trying to be a huge corporation. We just want to get our products out. The owner is usually here, drinking black coffee. We work long hours when a new shipment comes in. Shaheen Bagh is a place that never sleeps, so sometimes we stay late and it's still busy outside. We have a few sewing machines for samples. The noise is part of the background now. We check the quality of everything ourselves. It’s not perfect, sometimes a button is loose and we have to fix it. We don't have a marketing team. We just talk to our customers and send them what they want. The lifestyle business is tough in Delhi because trends change so fast. We try to keep up but we don't stress too much. It’s a family-run feel. We know the guy at the tea stall by his first name. That's the kind of place this is. Just people working together behind a showroom in a busy part of the city.
