Katisneso Apparels Private Limited

We are located in the DDA Flats in Kalkaji, right on the ground floor at J-3/71. It’s a residential area mostly, so it’s a bit different from the big commercial hubs. Being in South Delhi makes it convenient for us to get around, though. We work on apparels, which basically means we spend our days surrounded by piles of clothing and patterns. The space isn't huge, but we make it work by staying organized. Most of the neighbors know us because we’ve been here for a while now. It’s a simple setup with a few sewing machines and a cutting table. We don’t have a website that’s updated every day or any of that. We just do the work as it comes in. Sometimes it gets a bit cramped when a big shipment arrives, and we have to stack boxes in the hallway for a bit. The light in the morning is good for checking colors, which is a small plus. We drink tea and talk about the day's tasks while we sort through the buttons and zippers. It’s a very hands-on kind of job. My sister and I handle most of the paperwork ourselves at a small desk in the corner. There’s always something to fix or a seam that needs redoing. We don't mind the repetitive nature of it. It’s just how we earn our living here in Kalkaji. We stay open until the sun goes down and then lock up the flat for the night.
