Cnv Apparels Private Limited is tucked away in the ground floor of G-40 in Masjid Moth. If you know the Greater Kailash-II area, you probably know how it gets around here during the day. We’ve been operating from this small space for some time now, mostly focusing on getting the garment work finished on time. It’s not a huge setup, but we have enough room for the machines and the fabric stacks that tend to pile up near the back door. Most of the staff has been with us since the beginning. We start early because the light is better then. It’s just how we do things. Sometimes the deliveries arrive late because of the traffic on the main road, but we manage to get things sorted out eventually. There isn't much flash to what we do. It’s mostly just making sure the stitching is straight and the patterns are cut the way they should be. We deal with all sorts of fabrics throughout the week. Sometimes it’s cotton, other times it’s something heavier. We don't really have a big fancy office, just a desk near the entrance where we keep the registers and some old files. People pop in now and then to check on their orders. We try to keep the place organized, though with all the thread and scraps of cloth, it’s a bit of a losing battle most days. It’s honest work and it keeps us busy from Monday to Saturday. The fan hums all day and we usually have the radio playing some old songs in the background while we work.
