Yukti Bachpan Bachao Foundation

Our place is at H.No-2323 on the 2nd Floor in Sainik Colony, Sec-49. It’s a residential area, so we are surrounded by families and regular houses. Yukti Bachpan Bachao Foundation is located up those two flights of stairs. It’s a bit of a climb if you’re carrying heavy things, but we’ve gotten used to it by now. The second floor gives us a little bit of a breeze when we open the balcony door. Sainik Colony is a fairly organized place, but it still has its quirks like any other neighborhood. We have a couple of rooms where we’ve put some desks and chairs. It’s definitely not a corporate office. There are some old stains on the floor and the ceiling fan makes a clicking sound when it’s on high speed. We just keep it on medium and keep working. Sec-49 is a good location because it’s easy for people to find us once they get into the colony. We don’t have a fancy lobby or any marketing materials on the walls. Mostly, we have stacks of papers and maybe a few old coffee mugs sitting around. We aren't trying to impress anyone with how the place looks. We are just here to do our jobs and then head home at the end of the day. It’s a simple setup that works for the kind of things we handle.
