Yogkshem Alliance Foundation

Yogkshem Alliance Foundation is based in Nizamuddin East at Ground Floor D29. It’s a pretty quiet part of the city compared to the main roads. The building is one of those older Delhi houses that has been converted a bit. We like being on the ground floor because it’s easy for everyone to get to. The office itself is just a few rooms filled with books, papers, and a couple of computers. It’s nothing like those glass buildings you see in the newer parts of town. We’ve got a small garden patch out front that we try to keep alive, though the heat makes it hard. Inside, the walls are a bit plain, but we have some old photos hanging up. Most days, it’s just the sound of typing and the occasional tea delivery from the shop nearby. We don't have a big staff, so it’s usually just the same three or four faces you’ll see. Nizamuddin has a specific feel to it, very historical and calm. We often take our breaks walking around the nearby lanes. Our work keeps us busy, but we don't rush through things. It’s more about being steady and getting the records straight. Sometimes the neighbor's dog barks during our calls, but we just laugh it off. It’s a very human way to work. We’ve been at D29 for a while and have no plans to move. It’s a solid home.
