Vrindavan Vihari Institute Of

Our place is over at B-72 in Gulmohar Park. It's a nice enough area, pretty quiet compared to the rest of New Delhi. Vrindavan Vihari Institute Of is what we call ourselves, even if the name is a bit of a mouthful for some. We use the space for classes and meetings. It’s an old building, so it has that specific smell of paper and stone that you find in Delhi. We don't have a big sign out front, just a small one so people know they’re at the right house. Inside, it's mostly classrooms with chairs that have been moved around a thousand times. We spend our mornings setting up for whoever is coming in that day. It's not a high-tech setup. We use what we have and focus on the teaching part. Sometimes the neighbors’ dogs bark during a quiet moment, but we’re used to it by now. We aren't trying to be a massive school with thousands of students. We like the small scale of things here in South Delhi. It lets us actually talk to people. There’s a kitchen in the back where we make coffee and tea when we have time. Usually, there’s a stack of notebooks on every flat surface in the office. We keep things pretty informal. If you come by, you’ll probably find one of us fixing a chair or organizing some old files. It’s just how we run things, nothing too polished or fancy. We just show up and do the work.
