Our office is in Flat No. 204 on the second floor of Shalimar Estate. If you are coming down Birbal Sahani Marg in New Hyderabad, you might miss the entrance if you aren't paying attention. It is a bit tucked away, but we like it that way because it stays relatively quiet for us to get our work done. We mostly deal with infrastructure projects and the technical side of development. There are four of us who sit here regularly, surrounded by stacks of paper and old files that probably need sorting. We don't have a receptionist or a lobby with coffee machines. Usually, someone just goes down to the corner stall to grab tea for everyone around mid-afternoon. The office has a view of the street, which is nice when things get slow. We’ve been in this specific spot for several years now and have no real plans to move elsewhere. It is central enough for our clients to find us, and it fits our needs perfectly. We spend a lot of time on the phone with contractors and suppliers. It is a lot of coordination and making sure materials show up on time. Things can get a bit disorganized during the busy season, but we always manage to find what we need eventually. We just take it one day at a time and try to stay on top of the paperwork that comes with this line of work.
