Udanda Import Export Internationalprivate Limited is based on the third floor of C-93 in Lajpat Nagar-II. If you know Lajpat Nagar, you know how busy it gets, especially on the weekends. Being on the third floor means we get a bit of a workout every time we come into work since there isn't always a lift available. The office is pretty simple. We have a few desks and a lot of shelf space for all the international trade documents we have to keep. It’s a noisy neighborhood, but once you’re inside and the door is shut, we can usually get things done. We spend a lot of time navigating the rules of import and export, which can be a real headache sometimes. There’s always some new regulation to read or a form that needs another signature. We aren't doing anything glamorous. It’s just a lot of logistics and talking to people at the ports. Sometimes we grab lunch from one of the stalls downstairs when we’re too busy to cook. The business has its ups and downs, like any other, but we’ve managed to stay steady over the years. We just focus on getting the goods from point A to point B without too much drama. It’s a practical business run by people who know the area well. We don't use big words or fancy titles here. We just get the job done and move on to the next task.
