Synergy Enviro Foundation

We're over here at Anand Sai Apartments, specifically in flat 001. It’s a busy spot in Novnirman Colony. Most days, we’re just sorting through papers or talking about local projects. It isn’t a fancy office with big glass windows or anything like that. Just a regular room where a few of us sit and try to get things done. We started this because we saw a lot of waste around the neighborhood and figured something had to change. The foundation is small, just a handful of people who live nearby. Sometimes it gets a bit crowded in here when everyone shows up at once, but we make it work. We spend a lot of time on the phone or out in the colony looking at trees and trash issues. It’s not glamorous work. Sometimes the printer jams or we run out of tea, which slows us down. But we keep at it because someone has to. Being on the ground floor makes it easy for people to drop by, though we're usually busy with paperwork. We don't have a big corporate board or anything. It’s just us, some old desks, and a lot of ideas about making the environment a bit better around here. It takes a lot of time to organize things, especially when you're working out of a residential space, but it feels right to be right in the middle of the community we’re trying to help. It is mostly just about doing the small things that add up over time and keeping the office running.
