We are located in the basement of S-369 in Greater Kailash 2. Being in a basement floor has its own set of challenges and perks. It stays a bit cooler than the street level during those hot Delhi summers, but we do have to carry everything up and down the stairs. Suvam Fabtex is basically just a few rooms filled with stacks of fabric and a couple of desks for paperwork. We aren't a big corporate entity with a reception desk or fancy coffee machines. It’s just a place where we get the work done. Most of our time is spent measuring cloth, checking quality, and talking to people on the phone about their orders. South Delhi is a busy area, but down here it’s relatively quiet, which helps us focus. We don’t really do much in the way of advertising. Most people find us because they know someone who has worked with us before. It’s a very practical, no-nonsense environment. We don't have any big slogans or goals other than keeping the business running smoothly day by day. Sometimes the space feels a bit cramped when a large shipment comes in, and we have to shuffle things around just to move, but that’s how it goes in a small business. We’ve been at this for some time now and have a good rhythm. It’s just us, working with textiles, trying to stay organized in our little basement spot and making sure each day is productive.
