Our place is up on the first floor in Govindpuri. If you know this area, you know how packed the streets can get, especially in the afternoons. It’s a lively place to have an office. We deal with international trade, which basically means we spend half our lives looking at time zones and wondering why a shipment is still sitting at a port somewhere. The office itself is pretty basic. We have a couple of rooms where we keep all the records and set up our workstations. It’s not the kind of place where you’d find marble floors or anything fancy. We just need desks that hold our monitors and enough light to read the small print on customs forms. Sometimes the internet acts up or the power goes out, but that’s just part of working in this part of town. We all live fairly close by, so the commute isn't too bad, though navigating the narrow lanes of Govindpuri can be a challenge. We handle things for clients who need stuff moved across borders. It involves a lot of talking to different agencies and making sure the paperwork is exactly how they want it. We’ve had some long days here when deadlines are tight. We don’t really do anything flashy, we just focus on making sure the goods get where they are going. It’s a lot of routine work punctuated by the occasional emergency, but we manage to keep things moving along well enough. We're just regular people trying to do a good job.
