Roohaniyat Foundation

Our office is at C-107 on the first floor in Dayanand Colony. That is over in Lajpat Nagar-IV. It’s a busy part of New Delhi, but Dayanand Colony itself is a bit more tucked away. Roohaniyat Foundation operates from this flat. It’s a first-floor space, so there are some stairs to climb. We have a few rooms where we keep our stuff. It’s not a corporate office with glass walls or anything. It feels more like someone’s apartment that we turned into a workspace. We have our desks pushed up against the walls and plenty of tea throughout the day. Lajpat Nagar is always full of life, which is great, but we like having this quiet spot to focus. We’ve been at C-107 for some time. There are always papers to sort through and phone calls to make. We aren’t trying to be anything we aren’t. It’s just a small group of people working out of a colony in South Delhi. The neighbors are nice and we mostly keep to ourselves unless someone drops by. We don't have any big slogans or anything. We just show up and do the work every morning. It’s a simple setup in a good location for getting around the city. Nothing too complicated about it. Sometimes we forget to answer the door right away because we’re in the back room, but we are here most of the time.
