Presda Foundation

Presda Foundation is down in Shaheen Bagh, specifically at G-50/9 on the ground floor. We are in Abul Fazal Enclave-2. Being on the ground floor is great because people can just see us through the door and wave or stop in. Shaheen Bagh is a vibrant place, always something happening outside. Our office is just a simple room with some desks and chairs. We don't have a big staff, just a few of us who are around most of the time. We work on things that matter to the people living in Abul Fazal Enclave. It’s not about being a big name; it’s just about being there when someone needs something. We don't have a lot of fancy technology. We use what we have. Some days we are out in the neighborhood more than we are in the office. It’s a lot of face-to-face talk and listening to what’s going on. We’ve been in this part of Delhi for a while and we’ve seen the area change. We just want to be a steady part of the neighborhood. It’s a bit cramped sometimes with all the stuff we keep, but we make it work. It’s a real place for real people. We aren't doing this for the glory, just because it’s our neighborhood too.
