Pratidaan Foundation

We've been around Greater Kailash Part III for a while now, specifically over at Masjid Moth in E-106. Pratidaan Foundation started because a few of us saw things that needed doing in the neighborhood. It isn't a huge office or anything, just a regular space where we get together to figure out how to help people out. Sometimes the traffic outside is a mess, but we make it work. Most days involve a lot of phone calls and drinking tea while we organize the next step for our projects. People often stop by just to ask what we are up to, and we try to give them a straight answer. It’s not always organized perfectly, but the work gets done. We handle local issues as they come up. If someone needs a hand or some advice, they know where to find us. It’s a quiet corner here, but we stay busy enough. There is always a pile of paperwork on the desk that never seems to get shorter. We don’t really do big speeches or fancy events. Mostly, it’s just us working through the daily tasks. Living and working in Masjid Moth has its quirks, like the local markets getting crowded, but it feels like home. We’re just local people trying to make things a bit easier for others when we can. That’s pretty much the whole story without making it sound like more than it is.
