Our little office is tucked away in Gali Number 22 in Zakir Nagar. If you know the Jamia Nagar area, you’ll know it can get pretty crowded and loud, but we like the energy of it. We are in House Number 2-A/2, right on the second floor. Carrying those ophthalmic devices up the stairs can be a real workout, let me tell you. We deal with all sorts of medical and eye equipment. Most of the space is taken up by boxes and bubble wrap. It’s not the most organized-looking place, but we know where everything is. The staff here is just a handful of local people. We usually have the fan going full blast because it gets warm in the afternoon. We spend a lot of time checking the gear before it goes out. Ophelia isn’t some massive company with a skyscraper. We’re just a small business on a second floor in a busy lane. Sometimes we grab lunch from the stalls downstairs, and that’s the best part of the day. We’ve been at this for a bit now, and we’ve gotten used to the rhythm of the neighborhood. People stop by to ask for directions or just to say hello. We don't have any big marketing speeches to give. We just work with these devices and try to get through the day like everyone else.
