Oasis-Ray Of Sunshine Foundation

You can find the Oasis-Ray Of Sunshine Foundation at 50 Masigarh on the first floor. We are directly opposite Sukhdev Vihar, which is a good landmark for anyone who is trying to visit us for the first time. The building is a bit older, but it has a lot of character. We like being on the first floor because we can see what’s happening on the street without it being too noisy inside. The name is a bit long, so we often just call it Oasis when we are talking amongst ourselves. Inside, the office is pretty simple. We have a few old wooden desks and some chairs that have seen better days. There is a small kitchenette where we make tea about five times a day. We spend a lot of time here just working through the daily tasks that come with running a foundation. It’s not always exciting, but it’s important to us. We don't have a big marketing department or anything like that. We just rely on the people in the community knowing who we are. Sometimes the traffic in front of the building gets backed up, and the noise of the horns can be a bit much, but that is just part of being in this area. We’ve made this space our own over the years, and it’s where we feel most comfortable getting things done. We aren't doing anything fancy, just keeping the lights on and doing the work.
