Multigain Global Solutions Private Limited is based in a basement in Jasola, right at number 126 in Pocket 1. Being in a basement has its pros and cons; it stays relatively cool when the sun is beating down on Delhi, but we do have to keep the lights on all day. It’s a very functional space without any unnecessary frills. We have our desks lined up, and the walls are mostly covered with calendars and notes. Jasola is a very busy part of the city, especially with the hospital and the metro station so close by. You can always hear the faint hum of traffic from the street level. We chose this location because it’s practical and puts us near a lot of other businesses. There’s no formal reception area here. If you come down the stairs, you’ll walk right into where we’re working. It’s a very open and direct environment. We eat our lunch together at a small table in the corner, usually talking about anything except work for a few minutes. The stairs are a bit steep, so we’ve learned to be careful when we’re carrying stuff in. It’s not a glamorous office by any means, but it’s where we put in the hours. We’re just a regular group of people handling our daily tasks in a quiet basement office.
