Miles2Smile Foundation

If you walk up to the second floor of A-202 in Shaheen Bagh, you will find us. We are in the Abul Fazal Enclave-2 area of Jamia Nagar. It is a lively neighborhood, always something going on in the streets below. Miles2Smile Foundation is just a small office where we try to keep track of everything we are doing. The stairs up to the second floor are a bit steep, but we are used to them by now. We started this because we wanted to see more people happy in our own community. We don't have a corporate office or anything like that. It’s mostly just us sitting around a couple of tables with our laptops. We spend a lot of time talking to the locals and figuring out who needs what. Sometimes the office gets a bit messy with all the paperwork, but we know where everything is. We don't have a big budget for fancy things, so we just use what we have. It’s a very human way of doing things, I think. We make mistakes sometimes, like forgetting to buy milk for the tea, but the important work always gets done. We aren’t trying to be anything we aren’t. We are just a group of people in Jamia Nagar who want to help out. It’s simple, and it works for us and the people who come to see us. We are just happy to be here.
