Nehru Place is a chaotic place, let's be honest. Everyone is always rushing somewhere. We're up on the 7th floor of the Sahyog Building, unit 58/709. Kanwarji Construction has been in this building for quite a while now. The elevators can be a bit slow in the morning, so we get a lot of steps in. Looking out from the 7th floor, you see a lot of rooftops and the constant traffic below. It’s a construction company, so we’re usually talking about steel, concrete, and timelines. We aren't the type to wear suits and ties every day. It’s more about boots and site maps for us. Nehru Place is great because everything you need is right here, but the noise never really stops. We have our fair share of stress, like any business in New Delhi. Managing laborers and making sure supplies arrive on time is a constant battle. Sometimes things don't go exactly as planned, and we just have to figure it out on the fly. We don't have a big fancy lobby with a receptionist. It’s just a workspace where we get things done. We’ve built a lot of things over the years, and each one had its own set of headaches. But that’s what we do for a living. We’re just here working, day in and day out, in the middle of all the Nehru Place madness. It's not always pretty, but it is real work.
