This office is tucked away in the DDA flats in Kalkaji. It’s a first-floor spot, J-2/63B, so it feels more like a home than a big corporate office. Kanakam Exports has been operating out of here for some time. Kalkaji is a crowded place, especially with the market nearby, so parking is always a headache for anyone visiting. We spend most of our time on the phone or on the computer, tracking shipments and talking to suppliers. The rooms are filled with samples and boxes that need to be sent out. It’s not a big team, just a few of us trying to make sure things get to where they’re supposed to go on time. Sometimes the internet is slow, and we all just sit around waiting for a page to load so we can finish an invoice. We don't have any big signs outside. Most people who come here already know where they are going. Dealing with exports means we are often working odd hours to match other time zones. It gets pretty quiet in the evenings once the neighbors settle in. We try not to make too much noise moving crates around. It is just a regular business in a regular neighborhood. We handle a variety of goods, whatever our clients are asking for that month. It keeps us busy, and that is about all we can ask for at the end of the day. We just try to keep things organized despite the limited space we have.
