Kadam Khandi Development Foundation

Kadam Khandi Development Foundation operates out of a basement at C 736 in New Delhi, South Delhi. It’s a quiet spot, even though South Delhi can be pretty loud overall. Being in a basement means it stays a bit cooler in the summer, which is nice for us when we’re working. We focus on development, but we don't have a big, fancy office to show for it. It’s just a room with some computers, a few chairs, and a lot of maps and plans. We aren't trying to impress anyone with how we look. We just want to get the work done. The foundation has been around for some time, and we’ve slowly built up our presence here. We don't have a big staff, so everyone does a bit of everything. One day you might be filing papers, and the next you’re out talking to people in the city. It’s not a polished operation, and we sometimes make mistakes with the paperwork, but we always fix them. We don't use big words or talk about missions. We just look at what needs to be developed and see how we can help. Being in C 736 is convenient for us, and we’ve gotten to know the people nearby. It’s just a regular local foundation, working away in a basement to try and make things a little better for the city.
