You can find us at Ishaka Decor Private Limited in Aya Nagar Extension, specifically at G-251 on the ground floor. The area is quite busy and there's often dust flying around because of the ongoing construction nearby. We work with decor items, so our space is often filled with various samples and boxes that we haven't found a permanent home for yet. It's a bit of a maze sometimes when you walk in. South Delhi is a big place but this little pocket of Aya Nagar feels more like a village in some ways. We don't have a fancy showroom with bright lights. Most of our work happens at these cluttered desks where we talk to suppliers and figure out logistics. Sometimes the electricity cuts out for an hour or so and we just sit around and chat until it comes back on. It’s a very grounded way of working. We handle a lot of different things related to home decoration and it’s always interesting to see what’s coming in next. Our team is small and we’ve all known each other for a long time, so the atmosphere is pretty relaxed. We don't bother with corporate talk or wearing suits to the office. We just wear what's comfortable and focus on the tasks at hand. It's a practical way to run a business and we’ve stuck with it since we started here.
