Our spot for Freyr Homes Llp is at 237, Sukhdev Vihar. It’s a much quieter part of town compared to the main markets, which we really appreciate. The office is basically part of the house, so it has a very different feel than a tall office building in a commercial district. There are trees on the street and you can actually hear the birds in the morning before the day really gets going. We don’t have a big receptionist or a lobby. Usually, one of us just hears the doorbell and goes to see who it is. We’ve set up our workspace in a way that feels comfortable. There are big windows that let in a lot of natural light, which is nice when we are looking at home designs or paperwork for hours. We started this because we liked the idea of working from a place that feels like a home itself. Sukhdev Vihar is a nice neighborhood, and the neighbors are all pretty friendly. Sometimes we take our meetings out in the small garden area if the weather isn't too hot. It’s a very grounded way to run things. We aren't trying to impress anyone with expensive furniture or modern art. We just have what we need to get the job done and keep our projects moving along smoothly. It gets a bit cold in the winters, so we all wear our heavy sweaters while we sit at our desks.
