We are located at 196 Golf Links, up on the second floor. It’s a quiet area compared to the rest of the city, which is nice when you’re trying to focus on paperwork or research stuff. The Foundation For Pluralistic Research And Empowerment has been in this building for a while now. The stairs can be a bit steep, but it's good exercise, I guess. We usually have a few people in the office making calls or typing away. It's not a huge space, but we make it work with what we have. Sometimes the internet goes out when it rains, and we just have to wait it out. That's life here. We don't really do the whole corporate vibe; it’s more about just getting the tasks done and going home. Most of our days are spent looking at data or talking about how to help folks out. It gets a little dusty in the summer with the windows open, but the breeze is better than nothing. We have a small kettle for tea and some old wooden desks that have seen better days. It’s a plain office where we do our thing. We don't have a big reception area or anything like that. People just walk in and we say hello. It feels more like a home office than a big institution, which suits us just fine. There's a nice view of the trees from the balcony if you need a break. We’ve been here long enough that the place feels like a second home to the staff.
