We started Daddy And Friends Cafe LLP over in Lajpat Nagar III. The address is I 20, right in the middle of a very busy part of South Delhi. It’s a cafe, so we deal with coffee, snacks, and people coming in and out all day. It’s not a huge place, so it can feel a bit tight when it’s full. We chose the name because it felt personal to us. We aren't a big chain with a manual for everything. We just do things the way we think they should be done. Sometimes we run out of something and have to run to the market quickly. That's just how it is when you're small. The atmosphere is just us and the people who walk in. Lajpat Nagar is always crowded, so there is never a quiet moment. We spend a lot of time wiping down tables and making sure the machine is working right. It’s a lot of standing on your feet. We don't have a marketing strategy or anything like that. We just hope the coffee is okay for people to tell their friends. It's a local spot and we like it that way. We just keep it simple and try to be friendly to everyone who comes through the door. Usually, we are just trying to keep the place tidy while juggling a few orders at the same time.
