Our office for Charmaine Import Export is at G-16 on the second floor in Lajpat Nagar-1. This neighborhood is one of the busiest in Delhi, and you can feel that energy the moment you step outside. We are right in the middle of all the shops and street food stalls. Up on the second floor, we have our small office where we handle the import and export side of things. It’s mostly desks, computers, and a lot of folders. We don't have anything fancy like a lobby or expensive art on the walls. It’s a workspace for people who have to deal with customs papers and shipping schedules all day. The place can get a bit messy with all the documents and samples coming in from different places, but we know where everything is. We spend a lot of time talking to people in different countries, so our hours can be a bit strange sometimes. We don't try to sound like a big, polished company because we aren't. We are just a small team working hard to make sure goods move from one country to another without any problems. The stairs are steep and the market noise is constant, but we’ve gotten used to it. We take our work seriously but keep the atmosphere pretty relaxed among ourselves. Usually, we grab lunch from one of the local spots nearby and then get right back to the phones and the paperwork.
