Arsco Foods India Private Limited

Our business, Arsco Foods India Private Limited, is situated on the third floor at A-188/4 and A-141 in Abul Fazal Enclave-2, Jamia Nagar. Being on the third floor means there are a lot of stairs to climb every day, which keeps us on our toes. The building is in a busy part of the enclave, so there’s always the sound of motorbikes and people talking coming up from the street. We use the space for managing our food products and keeping all the records straight. It’s not a very big area, so we have to be smart about how we stack things. We don't have fancy office equipment. Most of our furniture is stuff we’ve picked up over the years. It’s a bit of a mix-and-match look, but it works for what we need. We spend a lot of time checking the quality of the batches we get. It’s a lot of manual checking and marking things off on clipboards. We don’t really do any big promotions or advertising campaigns. Most of the people we work with have known us for a long time through word of mouth. It’s a very grounded way of working. We just focus on the daily chores, like answering the phone and making sure the deliveries are ready for the morning. It’s a bit cramped sometimes, especially when we get a large shipment in, but we just move things around until it fits. We keep the tea kettle going and just get through the list. Being in Jamia Nagar means there's always good food nearby for lunch, which is one of the perks of being in this building.
