Alim And Zabi Beverage Production Private Limited

Our production setup for Alim And Zabi is in Lajpat Nagar. We are located in Shop G-18 on the ground floor. If you've been to Lajpat Nagar, you know how the streets are—always someone selling something and lots of noise from the rickshaws. We make beverages here. It’s a production line, so there’s a lot of clinking of bottles and the smell of whatever we are mixing that day. The shop isn't fancy. It has some industrial sinks and the bottling equipment takes up most of the room. We get here early, usually when the shutters are still down on most of the other shops. It’s quieter then. We spend a lot of time cleaning the floors because things get sticky when you're working with drinks. My cousin helps out with the deliveries, and we have a couple of guys who handle the heavy lifting. The space is a bit tight, especially when a new shipment of ingredients arrives. We have to stack everything carefully so we can still walk through to the back. It’s a lot of work keeping the machines running right. Sometimes they jam and we have to spend an hour fixing a belt. That’s just part of the job. We aren't some big corporate factory, just a local shop in South Delhi trying to get our bottles out to the people who want them. It keeps us busy and we’ve gotten used to the noise and the constant activity around the shop.
