We are set up at 38, Hara Kumar Tagore Strand in Baranagar. It’s an old part of the city and the building has seen plenty of years. Most of what we do involves paints and related stuff, which keeps the place smelling like fresh finish most days. The location right by the strand means we see a lot of the local traffic passing by. It’s not a high-tech office, just a solid place where we handle the day-to-day business of getting orders out. The floors are a bit worn and the walls have some marks, but that’s what happens when you’re moving heavy cans and equipment around for years. Folks in Baranagar know where we are if they need to pick something up or talk about an order. We have a small team here and everyone knows their job. Sometimes the phones ring more than we can answer, but we eventually get back to everyone. It’s a practical setup without any bells or whistles. Working down by the strand has its own rhythm, and we’ve become part of that over the years. We don’t really change much, just keep doing what we’ve been doing at this address. It’s a simple operation and we like it that way.
