About Young Chefs Association For Sustainable India – Exim Trade in South Delhi
You’ll find the Young Chefs Association For Sustainable India on the ground floor of B-2/101B in Safdarjung Enclave. It’s a nice area of New Delhi, and having a ground floor spot is pretty convenient for when people come to visit. We are mostly focused on the food industry and sustainability, though it’s not always as exciting as it sounds. A lot of it is just sitting at the computer, organizing events, or talking to chefs across the country. We have some papers and posters around the office related to cooking and farming. It’s not a huge space, but it’s enough for our small team to get together and plan things out. Sometimes we have meetings where we talk about better ways to do things in the kitchen, but mostly we are just handling the boring administrative stuff that keeps an association going. Safdarjung is a busy place, so there’s always noise from the street, but you get used to it. We aren't here to give some big corporate pitch. We just care about food and the people who make it. We try to be helpful and keep everyone connected. It’s a bit of a scramble sometimes when an event is coming up, but we usually manage to pull it off. We’re just a group of people who like what we do and want to see things improve.
